Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on December 20. He conveyed his deep concerns and anguish about serious misdemeanours by MPs in the Parliament complex demeaning and denigrating the constitutional office of the Vice President.
On December 19, a TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee was seen mimicking VP Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Parliament premises. He drew laughter from other Opposition MPs and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was filming him.
