I have had a fascination with Alan Turing's life since the early 1990's when I watched a documentary about Bletchley park with my Mum.

So I have made a short documentary on Alan's achievements and his links to Manchester.

I am from Manchester myself and thought it would be a fitting tribute for me to go and film at Alan Turing's monument at Sackville Garden's next to Canal Street.

There will be infinitely more informed people who can tell you about his life than myself, but I hope you enjoy the video and please leave a comment below on what Alan Turing means to you.

It is Pride month in June 2021 and also Alan Turing's birthday on the 23rd of June so I think it was meant to be that I made this....
