Oh hello, you've caught me walking in downtown Montréal! Come join me on this walking tour on some of Montréal's most popular hotspots and scenic cityscapes on this beautiful and busy October day.
Montréal, nestled in the south of the french speaking province of Québec, is Canada's second largest city. The majority of Montréal is on an Island in the Saint Lawrence River and the city is named after Mt. Royal, the mountain smack in the heart of the city. Its boroughs, surround the mountain and include neighbourhoods ranging from the old cobblestoned French colonial Vieux-Montréal to the bohemian Plateau.
We're going to explore the busy commerce and university area today, locally known as the Golden Mile and Ville-Marie, arguably the most well known downtown tourist areas. We'll walk Saint-Laurent Boulevard & Saint-Catherine's St, go through the university grounds of McGill & Quebec, walk to the base of Mt. Royal and head back down along the beautiful Victorian era houses and public buildings.
It's mid October and peak fall. The city looks beautiful, and is presented here in 4K definition with volume-edited city sounds ambience. There's a music track for the intro only, which is "Travel to the City" by Lesfm.
Enjoy the walk, and please don't forget to Like the video and subscribe to the channel for regular content updates. Thanks!
