Mostly, everybody says IVF success is between 40 to 50% but that is the rate of success of the clinic which applies to all the patients undergoing IVF from that particular clinic.
It can not be generalized, Like are a young girl of 27 years old with tubal block has a better success rate as compared to 27 years old lady with severe endometriosis.
Similarly, a 40years old lady with reduced ovarian reserve your success rate is much less around 10 % with your own eggs whereas 50 % with donor eggs, so all of these conditions can not be compared.

3. Age matters a lot in IVF - Mostly people think the IVF is the last resort this is not correct
if IVF is needed whatever the age or indication of the patient is one should go for IVF without delaying
4. Lifestyle modification Healthy lifestyle like quitting smoking, alcohol, eating outside food, practicing yoga and regular exercising, losing weight, avoiding stress, before IVF can definitely improve the success of IVF.
Practicing all this at least 3 months before IVF well surely help and both the partners should follow this as we need a good egg and good sperm to make a good embryo
5. PCOD, diabetes, thyroid - all of this should be under control before starting IVF
6.Vit D, Folic acid Supplementation before starting of IVF
7. Baseline ultrasound to see the ovarian reserve and uterine assessment beforehand is important
