Vikram Sarabhai (1919 – 1971) was a Fellow of the Academy, and a member of the Council from 1952 to 1961 and again from 1965 to 1970. In view of his profound contributions to the Academy and to Indian science, the Academy celebrated his birth centenary in association with ISRO and Department of Atomic Energy, with a set of three lectures covering different aspects of Vikram Sarabhai’s life by eminent persons who are intimately conversant with his life and works. This event held on 2 July 2020 .
