Maratha reservation issue has once again fled up in the state after a violent protest in Jalna in which the protestors clashed with the police, protests have now been witnessed in other parts of the state. Maratha Kranti mochas called for bandh in Aurangabad and Mumbai. Uddhav Thackeray visited the protest site. He demanded in a public meeting that the Centre must provide reservations to Marathas and OBCs in the upcoming Special Session of Parliament. Also, referring to the police action of lathi-charge, Uddhav Thackeray accused the Centre of ordering brutality against peaceful protestors. He further warned that if something like that is repeated, the people of Maharashtra won't take it. Sharad Pawar also gave him statements regarding the issue.
