The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has raided the residences of two senior officials of the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) who are among officials of the agency wanted over multi-million shillings scandals in the construction of roads under the authority. KeRRA Regional Director for Kirinyaga County Eng. Joseph Murage Kimata and KeRRA Regional Accountant for Lamu County Joel Mutambu Kilonzi allegedly benefited to the tune of 15 million shillings from the companies that they awarded road construction and maintenance contracts to through their offices.
