Have the spiritual gifts ceased or are they still available today? Cessationists often argue that the miraculous gifts of the spirit, such as healing and prophecy, ceased with the death of the apostles and there is no evidence in church history for the continuation of the miraculous gifts. But is this correct? In this video I provide a number of quotes from the early church fathers as well as from John Wesley to support the fact that the miraculous gifts continued well after the Paul and the 12 apostles died. Now there are some very godly cessationists like Justin Peters, John MacArthur and others so I don't want people to think that I am trying to attack cessationists. However, I do want to defend those who believe in the continuation of the miraculous gifts of the Spirit. At the same time, there are clear fakes and frauds like Todd White, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar and all the other false teachers I have exposed on this channel over and over again. Despite the fact that there are many false prophets and false teachers making false claims to the spiritual gifts, that does not negate the fact that cessationism is unbiblical and the gifts are still available today.
