We celebrated Cebu’s most iconic dish with top lechoneros battling it out for the title of Best Lechonero and inventive chefs transforming leftovers in the Paksiw Wars! 🏆

Congrats to Henry Cui of Apo ni Bebie’s Lechon for winning Best Lechonero with his perfectly crispy, tender, and flavorful lechon! 🐖 And a big shoutout to Amiel Abellare of Bella’s Lechon Foodhouse, Rodelio Namanas Jr. from Ethan Jhun’s Lechon, and Rodjen Repaja of Rodz Lechon for rounding out the top spots! 👏

The Paksiw Wars brought out the best from Cebu’s students, with TESDA taking home the win for their creative Lechon Paksiw! Special recognition to Cebu Normal University, Southwestern University PHINMA, and Abellana National High School for their strong performances. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Thanks to the amazing judges, including Chef Myke ‘Tatung’ Sarthou, for guiding and inspiring the competitors with their culinary wisdom. 🌟
