In this video, I talk about how my family reacted to my diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Initially, they were shocked and concerned, especially with the potential heart problems associated with EDS. However, I reassured them that my type of EDS, hypermobility, primarily affects my energy levels, chronic fatigue, and pain. Despite the initial lack of awareness, they've supported me by adjusting meals to suit my dietary needs and being more understanding of my condition. Living with EDS can be challenging, but with the right support system, it's manageable.
