During the course Migration: Contemporary Debates, we examine some of the major debates related in migrants rights, the treatment of refugees, the asylum system, and the civic organisations and movements that fight for migrants rights. As a result of globalization, all of us are increasingly interacting with people of different backgrounds, appearances and opinions. During this course we discuss how do we as individuals and societies treat people that a different from us, especially people who are in a vulnerable or disadvantaged position.
