You will learn how to weave with the Tabby Weave also called plain weave. If you want to make the full woven wall hanging then watch Part 1 first.
This video is part 2 of my weaving instructions to complete a full woven wall hanging. I have broken up the video for easier reference on each weaving technique. If you follow all parts of this series you will be able to complete a beautiful woven piece for your room decor.
Each part will go over another weaving technique. This way you can choose what type of weave you like and create your own fabulous wall hanging or use my instructions to make the full woven hanging that I have created for you.
Supplies:
-frame loom and yarn for the warp threads if you haven't already got this far.
- cardboard for a base at the bottom of your warp threads
-shed stick and weaving shuttle
-yarn for the tabby weave. I have used white Bernat softee chunky Super Bulky #6.
- tapestry needle
-Afro hair pick for tapestry beater or other tapestry beater of your choice
