This recipe is SO EASY and takes regular spaghetti OVER THE TOP!
Million Dollar Baked Spaghetti
1 lb ground beef (Or 1/2 lb italian sausage + 1/2 ground beef)
1 box Spaghetti Noodles
1 Jar Favorite Pasta Sauce
1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
1 Yellow Onion, chopped
3-4 cups shredded Mozarella Cheese
1 tbsp minced Garlic
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Seasonings of Choice, I used sprinkle of Italian Seasoning, Dash Onion and Herb, and Paprika.
1 Jar Favorite Alfredo OR recipe below...
Lightended Up Alfredo
4 Tbsp Butter
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 Oz. Cream Cheese, softened
3/4 Cup Chicken Broth
3/4 Cup Milk
2 Tbsp Flour
1-1.5 cups shredded Parm
In small pan, melt butter. Add garlic and cream cheese. Whisk together until cream cheese is mostly combined. Stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute, continuing to whisk. Whisk in broth and milk. Whisk in parm cheese and stir until everything is melted and smoothe.
Directions: Preheat oven to 375. In large pot, cook spaghetti slightly less than al dente. Drain. Do not rinse. In large skillet, sautee bell pepper and onion until they start ti brown. Add garlic and ground beef. Add seasonings and continue to cook until meat is browned. Drain fat. Stir in pasta sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes. Taste and season accordingly. When noodles are finished cooking, pour over alfredo sauce and stir to combine. Pour noodles into greased 9x13 baking dish. Add a layer of shredded cheese. Top with meat sauce and additional mozarella. Top with parsley if desired. Bake 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly!
