A 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district. Stretching from Kongens Nytorv to the Inner Harbour just south of the Royal Playhouse, it is lined by brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal harbours many historical wooden ships.

A bridge across the Inner Harbour in Copenhagen. It is a 180 metres (590 ft) combined pedestrian and bicyclist bridge directed east-west. The bridge is joined to Nyhavn (west) and Christianshavn (east).
The bridge was designed by Flint & Neill with Studio Bednarski and Hardesty & Hanover, and opened to the public on 7 July 2016.
