The people that are currently tasked with climate response within companies are often small teams that are under-resourced. To solve the climate crisis, we need to unleash the power only rivalled by nature itself. We must open the floodgates to bring in workers from every part of the workforce to integrate their technical expertise, but also fresh approaches, diverse backgrounds, and creativity. Jamie is the founding director of Project Drawdown’s Drawdown Labs – a consortium of private sector partners working to go beyond ‘net zero’ to scale climate solutions in the world, within and outside their own operations. Jamie joined the Project Drawdown team from Ceres, where she led corporate engagement, working with companies to set ambitious emission reduction targets and leveraging their influence in support of strong climate and clean energy policies. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
