When arriving in Bora Bora, many travelers take a boat shuttle directly to their resorts. For those that want to reach the main island of Bora Bora there is a free shuttle service run by Air Tahiti from the airport to the main dock in Vaitape. The boats leave for Vaitape village about 20 minutes after your flight arrives and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the marina in Vaitape.
