The City, County of Presidio, the Presidio County Historical Association and the Center for Big Bend Studies celebrate with the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas for the transfer of rights and ownership of this historical cemetery were over 40+ Lipan Apache tombs are located. The reason they were buried in this location because the Lipan's found this place sacred and healing for their community which was living in Presidio, Texas during 1790-1880.
