This week's Zazoo Plazz report expresses a lot of ease. ;) That is in contrast to years past (especially when my boys were little), when I questioned whether I could possibly complete my lengthy to-do list before Christmas Eve. But somehow, I always did (even though I was so tired the next day I could hardly stay awake, never mind enjoy the magic I had worked so hard to conjure). No wonder my boys drew pictures of Christmas morning with Mom fast asleep in her bed upstairs (while everyone else opened their presents under the tree).
We (especially the moms) shouldn't have to worry or be discouraged about the holidays: we should give thanks in advance that the Universe provides all that we need (and more), and that a new year always follows the old, bringing new creative opportunities. This is a good time to "Shout" for joy (or let out the old year's pent-up karma), along with Tears for Fears (1984), a great song to accompany primal screaming in the car, from their "Songs from the Big Chair" album (1985) which provided the backdrop of my mid-1980s college years: [ Ссылка ] (official video) and [ Ссылка ] (Live at Roskilde Festival 2019) This song never lets me down. You had to live it to "get" it. If Gen X had an anthem (especially us in the OG group), this would be a serious contender. At least now I know they're not saying "vacate your lies" (it's "they gave you life").
I was curious about the Durdle Door formation at Dorset, England, where the band filmed the video: [ Ссылка ] Now this would be a cool place to visit, on the Jurassic Coast!
Now let's branch out and talk about Christmas tree traditions around the world: [ Ссылка ]
