00:00 The best way to get euros in Paris. *Money Exchange in Paris experiment. I did a little experiment and exchanged 300 USD in the airport currency exchange for 226 euros, 200 USD in the money changer beside Le Meurice for 138 euros. Last year, My Bffs and I were here as well and my bff exchanged 500 USD and got around 300 euros. The exchange rate is around 1:1. The lesson of the story is, it might be better for us to use the ATM and pay the smaller international transaction fee instead of the tax, commission, and transaction fees of money changers, yeah? I always bring cash whenever I travel around in Asia, US, and Europe but I just realized that tax, commission, and transaction fees takes a larger chunk compared to if I just use an ATM in Paris.
