Here is an interesting winery project from La Palma (Canary Islands), named Llanos Negros. In our comparative wine tasting we uncorked Vijariego Blanco 2017 and La Tablada 2014 (named after the plot where the 2 rare grape varieties, used for this wine, are grown: Gual and Sabro). As most of the Canary wines, these two are complex, surprising, and flavourful.
Available at our online wine shop, if you decide to buy and try them, let us know your opinion!
We can also suggest other wines from another Canary Island, Lanzarote: Tisalaya 2017 made with Diego (it is the Vijariego Blanco named Diego in Lanzarote) and Tisalaya La Vegueta 2018 made with Diego and Volcanic Malvasia.
