Guillermo Garcia Reina was Professor of Biology at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as well as director of the Spanish Bank of Algae and Marine Biotechnology Center of the same university. Garcia wanted to be in Generación Natura to tell us about the algae, their study, characteristics, uses and applications ... Work on algae develop in the Spanish Bank of Algae, a laboratory which aims to provide service to companies and agencies, both domestic and international, involved in identifying, isolating, storing and supplying those who claim this type of microorganisms photosynthetic, which is what is known as microalgae.
Professor Garcia Reina died November 21, 2012.
