This is my second American DJ X-Move LED 25R. I've received 2 of these both with a very similar defect. The defect seems to be an issue with the tilt motor/belt system. The first unit I received made a horrible squeal when tilting. This unit seems to make a grinding sound instead.
I've got the lamp dimmed to 0% and using a Chauvet Obey 70 enabling one of the built in programs on DMX channel 8.
My advice is if possible buy in store where you can test the unit. If you order online then test immediately upon receipt so you don't have any hassles returning the unit to the seller.
