This is a review of the Mantra Mooloolaba Beach Resort, located on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
The resort is perfectly positioned, right across the road to the beach and at the end of the Mooloolaba shopping strip. Its located over small mall with easy access to cafes and restaurants.
We stayed there for two nights and it cost AUD $309.60 per night for the accomodation. IO booked a smaller room and was upgraded courtesy of my Accor Plus platinum membership to a one bedroom studio type apartment with a king size bed, funny shower and bathroom, small kitchenette and magnificent ocean views from the large balcony.
The resort does not have a restaurant or breakfast facilities, but there are so many options at the resorts doorstep that it does not matter. It does feature an indoor and outdoor pool, gym and out door BBQ facilities on the pool level as well as the roof. The roof offers spectacular views of the ocean and sunshine Cost hinterland.
The resort was built in 2000 and last renovated in 2018. It is showing its age a bit in terms of design and style but it is well maintained, very clean and very comfortable.
Overall a fantastic hotel, well located and offering superb views. Highly Recommended.
