According to Magicseaweed and Surfline, waves are going to be surfable at Punta Mango. I guess you can do it on a longboard. But to me it's basically a crappy day. I would not go for 1 to 1.1 meter waves, with high tide and fat conditions in early morning. Dirt road to Punta Mango looks like a river when it rains steadily. Don't be nickels and dimes taking a 2 x 2 economic rental car at the airport. Take a 4 x 4 or leave your 2 x 2 at Las Flores and take a boat for $50 - $70 that can take you to Mango. If you damage your car, very likely you will get charged by car company at airport, even if you have insurance. Go surfing if you are desperate, you have no work. I would stay doing house cleaning at home.
