The film portrays the life of a married couple in rural Haryana,India. The husband studies staying out of the town and wife remains at home. Eventually, the loneliness in the life of the wife starts to create a guilt inside the husband. The dilemma of holding the responsibility of the family and respecting her own desires finally takes her to the critical point where she has to look inside for the answers.
The film reflects the conflicts and complexities present within the setup of marriage institution and the conditions with which humans have to live with it.
