On November 18, 1962, at 4 am Major Shaitan Singh and the 124 members of Charlie Company moved from platoon to platoon, firing at the Chinese Army on a bitterly cold night despite being severely outnumbered and suffering from frostbite. Hon Capt. Asharam ji was one of those Indian soldiers who fought in the historic battle of Rezang La.
