The M2780 and M2780H were introduced by Deutz-Fahr in the early 1980s as the largest models in a new range of combines, building on the experience acquired with the acquisition of Fahr in 1968. It had a 160hp air-cooled Deutz engine and five straw walkers. The H stood for Hydromat, denoting hydrostatic drive. This one was cutting spring wheat in 2009.
