Hello friends, welcome to another video of my channel. Friends this video is about the famous tourist places of Jhargram . In this video we watch the popular top ten tourist spots of Jhargram .
Jhargram is the south western district of West Bengal. Jhargram district has lots of sal,palash and mahua forest. Jhargram has several places to visit such as raj palaces, historical places,forests,lakes, zoo,waterfalls,temples, hills etc. Jhargram share it's boundary to neighbouring district West Midnapore. People from all over West Bengal come here to enjoy these places.
The famous tourist places of Jhargram District are as follows:-
# No 1. is Chilkigarh Raj Palace. It is one of the most tourist attracted place of Jhargram. King Jagat Deb built this ancient palace.
#No 2. is the Ghagra Waterfalls. This waterfall is located 7 km away from Belpahari Hill. Ghagra waterfalls looks like earthen pot. The term Ghagra literally means earthen pot.
#No 3. is Jhargram Raj Palace. It is one of the ancient Raj Palace of Jhargram. King Sarbeshwar Singh built this palace. Many famous tollywood bengali movie such as Durgeshgorer Guptodhan, Sannashi Raja shooted in this raj palace.
# No 4. is Hatibari. It is the place where you can find dense sal forest. Here you can watch an elephant passing corridor from this Hatibari Forest to Dumla Range. To enjoy the beauty of this Hatibari Forest, Forest Department made a wonderful forest bungalow.
# No 5. is Khandarani Lake. This lake is surrounded by three hills. Gadrasini Hill is located in it's South and Singlahar Hill is in it's western sides. Here you can watch flocks of migratory birds in this Khandarani Lake.
# No 6. is Chilkigarh Kanak Durga Temple. This temple is more than 500 years old. King Gopinath built this temple. This temple is 14 km away from Jhargram Town and located beside Dulung River.
# No 7. is Jhilli Lake. This lake is located 67 km away from Jhargram Town and beside Gopiballavpur Road. Here you can find lots of migratory birds in this lake. You can enjoy boat safari in this lake water. A resort is built by Gopiballavpur Panchayet Samiti to enjoy this Jhilli Lakes beauty.
# No 8. is Eco Tourism Centre and Tribal Museum of Jhargram. In this museum you can watch tribal heritage and culture. Tribal people uses lots of ancient weapons. These weapons are preserved in this museum.
# No 9. is Jhargram Mini Zoo. In this zoo you can see different types of deer,antelope, bear; cheetah etc.
# No 10. is Kankrajhor.
