In this video, it is shown how to import data from different source file formats like TEXT File, CSV File, EXCEL File and HTML Link.
It is very important to import data in the python environment to perform any calculation, data analysis or data visualization. Source data can be in the text file which is having extension of .txt. It can be in Comma Separated Values that is .csv file. It can have most common used format Excel with extension .xls or .xlsx. Nowadays many data available on the website or server or webpages and it may have extension .HTML. Python has got flexibility to get data from all these sources.
Python has very effective package called PANDAS to handle this type of tasks. And surprisingly, it doesn’t require complex programming. It can be done with only few lines of code.
