Around the world, COVID-19 lockdowns have disrupted religious traditions from worship services, traditional celebrations, customary cultural ceremonies and much more. Although places of worship have found unique ways to worship “together”, many are still feeling the impact of this pandemic which continues to disrupt normal worship. VOA’s Ayen Bior spoke to Vivian Katachie, senior pastor of the Dominion Chapel International in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on her views about how her congregation or believers in Africa, in general, are holding on to their faith in God during these tough times. Pastor Katachie says she has seen the struggles her own congregation faces in trying to keep the faith.
