A 44-year-old bridge in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district collapsed, succumbing to the floodwaters of the swelling rivers.
The collapse was caught on camera, however authorities did not report any casualties. Authorities had also stopped traffic from crossing the bridge, after noticing cracks in the pillars.
This comes in just days after a British-era bridge in Maharashtra collapsed, washing away people, from which 28 bodies have been recovered.
