A few days ago the Riverblade camp at 62,40 in Krasarang Wilds got the respawn rate nerfed without warning. Farming with Potions of Luck this is the best place I can find to get the most amount of Plundered Treasure's in 1 potion. The amount of gold earned will depend on gear, speed, class, player skill and of course RNG. Do not bother to ask how much gold I make an hour because several processes such as selling mats, crafting items, turning Spirits of Harmony into Golden Lotus and opening up dozens of lockboxes are things that take extra time but give you the full profit of your loot.
Other locations are also viable like the Mogu's in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms which also drop keys for extra loot/rep. Or simply farming the same place in Windward Isle but staying back on the grass continously respawning riverblades and pull them as they come at you. I have tested all these methods several times. The mogu's will earn you rep if you need it but in the end less Plundered Treasures and the Cache Keys don't make up the difference. Farming on the grass respawning the riverblades is less work than this but still less chests. Likely because the turtles on the beach are extra targets and although have a reduced loot drop rate than the Riverblades from lower HP they still give you a few extra chests making this method #1.
