Among competitors was Paddy Hopkirk, driving the Mini Cooper. But the winner was Jack Sears in a Ford Galaxie. ® The big race of the day was for Formula One cars, with Jim Clark, Jack Brabham, Graham Hill and Dan Gurney among the many aces. Victory went to Jack Brabham and his Brabham-Climax, the car he designed and built himself.
