The future is full of uncertainty and challenges, but a group of our forward-thinking students took matters into their own hands by organizing a TEDx event with the theme "Where are we heading?". The event brought together a diverse range of speakers to explore the pressing issues and exciting opportunities that lie ahead for our society. From sustainability to technology, gender equality to medicine, this event was a thought-provoking and inspiring discussion about the future. Before transitioning to education, George Fish spent 6 years across three different universities conducting research into novel materials for solar cells.
His research focuses on using ultrafast laser spectroscopy in order to further our fundamental understanding of how materials for solar cells work. By having a more thorough understanding on how these materials generate charges, we can influence the design of current and future solar cell materials resulting in higher efficiency solar cells.
Throughout his PhD, he has been a part of and led different collaborative projects with other universities within Switzerland and in Europe resulting in several publications in a variety of different journals. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
