A Harrisburg High School teacher and school safety monitor have been placed on leave after engaging in a physical altercation in one of the school's classrooms on Wednesday morning.
According to the Harrisburg School District, a teacher and school safety monitor were involved in a verbal disagreement that escalated to a physical fight during one of the class periods on March 13.
The incident began when the safety monitor entered the classroom unexpectedly and confronted the teacher about a personal matter.
