The ISU Wind Ensemble's second selection at the 2024 Iowa State University Band Extravaganza was Carolean Jubilate, "Jubilation in the Age of King Charles III". The guest conductor was Lieutenant Colonel Craig Hallatt, Principal Director of Music in the British Army, who composed this piece to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. (One element of the piece, Tears of a Nation - In Memoriam, reflects the national grief felt by the people of the United Kingdom on the death of Queen Elizabeth II.)
