BROWN COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - The National Weather Service in Wilmington confirmed Thursday that a tornado did touch down in Brown County Wednesday night.
Storms swept through the Tri-State area late Wednesday night with tornado warnings cropping up through most of the Tri-State.
The tornado caused damage to areas near Lake Lorelei and Fayetteville. NWS says more information will come out as their surveys continue.
With more than 100 reports of damage, NWS says surveys and conclusions will take days.
