In this video, I visit the home of one of my subscribers to celebrate Onam. Onam is a major harvest festival in Kerala, India. It is a time for family and friends to come together and enjoy a feast of traditional dishes.
My subscriber tells me about the history of Onam and why it is celebrated. She also shows me how to make some of the dishes that are traditionally served during Onam.
We then sit down to enjoy a delicious Onam sadya. Sadya is a traditional Kerala meal that consists of over 20 different dishes. It is a feast for the senses, with its vibrant colors, delicious flavors, and intricate presentation.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to my subscriber's home and my experience of Onam. It was a truly memorable experience.
