Adama Ndiaye, also known as Adama Paris, is one of Senegal's top designers. Having left a banking career in Europe to pursue fashion design back home, Adama is now one of the 10 African designers, whose pieces have been worn by US first lady Michelle Obama. Her pieces can be found in New York, London or Paris and she is also well known in the Africa's fashion scene. Adama Paris is also very keen on promoting Africa. After Dakar Fashion week, Black Fashion Week Prague and Black Fashion Week Paris, she launched Black Fashion Week Montreal last year. Her latest project, Fashion TV Africa, a TV station dedicated to fashion, will start broadcasting in a few months.
