This video shows how to restart the print spooler service on a Microsoft Windows client. Often the first thing to try if you experience trouble with your printer. You dont need to restart the entire computer. If you need to do this often, you may need to make some more trouble shooting.
Assuming you use Windows 10, follow the steps below:
Press the Windows key and type CMD.
Right click the CMD (Command Prompt) and select Run As Administrator.
Then type (in the Command Prompt) net stop spooler and then net start spooler.
Try to print again and see if this quick-fix was helpful
