Vltor is diving into retro nostalgia by showcasing some of their past influential projects at SHOT Show 2024. Front and center is their M16A5 configuration, demonstrating the 20" upper on M4 lower requested by the Marine Corps years ago. This led to the creation of Vltor's renowned A5 buffer system, providing proven performance data from Marine Corps testing.
On display are prototypes using early PIM and A5 setups, giving a glimpse into the evolution of adjustable gas systems. Enthusiasts will also be excited to hear that a Rev 2 variant of the LOC handguard is coming soon. No more will clone builders have to settle for painted rails - Vltor will offer Type 3 hard anodized LOC handguards in black, tan, and green.
Complementing their retro lineup are new variants of Vltor's ClubFootLOC modular handguards. Short "EL" versions provide a lightweight minimalist option while full-length rails max out M-LOK real estate for accessories. The extended ClubFootsLOC boast enough interior clearance to tuck suppressors under the handguard.
Whether you're a fan of modern modularity or vintage military classics, Vltor continues innovating while paying homage to their roots. Catch up with Brandon at their SHOT Show booth to see these new products which will be releasing throughout 2024.
