Skies above Brazil's biggest city São Paulo turned dark on Monday afternoon, as plumes of black smoke began to fill the air and block any remaining sunlight. The source of the smoke is thousands of miles away in the Amazon rainforest, as thousands uncontrolled wildfire have been ravaging through large swaths of the wetlands for over two weeks. The Amazon rainforest, dubbed "the planet's lung," is responsible for 20 percent of the world's oxygen supply. #brazil#fire
