Dr Andrea Bernardi , Senior Lecturer in Employment and Organisation Studies at Oxford Brookes Business School, reviews industrial actions, labour market and unionisation figures to discuss whether we are observing a revival of trade unionism and workers' participation in Britain. He enquires whether the British system of industrial relations is fit for purpose in the post-Brexit, post-Pandemic scenario characterised by labour shortages, high turnover, high inflation and possibly an increased antagonism among the actors involved in the disputes.
