A young trader took his life because he thought he had amassed a loss of close to 1 million dollars. In reality the options had yet to settled which caused the negative balance to appear. Upon settling the loss would have been significantly lower that what appeared on portfolio. Unfortunately the individual did not live to wait for the options to settle.
