When God of War Ragnarok rolls around not long from now, all those years of accumulated storytelling are going to come together in what’s promising to be an epic conclusion to the current saga. And so, to that end, here, we’ll be going through the full story of the entire God of War franchise in chronological order, from beginning to end. We’ll begin with Ascension, move on to Chains of Olympus, then to the original God of War, then Ghost of Sparta, then God of War 2 and 3, and then finally, God of War (2018), before finally speaking a bit about Ragnarok and what we’re expecting (or at least hoping) to see from it.

Here, we’ve updated, tweaked, and polished it up, then put it all together so that you can get a detailed primer of the franchise’s entire story from beginning to and to prepare yourself for the launch of God of War Ragnarok.
