THE CONSULTATION PROCESS
1) Book an Appointment
Book your first appointment online at AFHealth.com.au/book or call us on (08) 8133 5511
2) Email Confirmation
This will contain a welcome letter, access to your patient portal, and a link to your first consultation intake form.
3) First Consultation
Your first consultation lasts up to 50 minutes. It is an opportunity to discuss your health concerns in detail and for your practitioner to gain a deep understanding of your condition and to address areas that need attention.
We do this via a comprehensive health assessment and a thorough case history. In many cases, further laboratory tests are required to validate and identify the exacerbating factors of your health issues.
4) Advanced Lab Testing
We may recommend further advanced medical tests in order to confirm the underlying issues exacerbating your health concerns.
All our Naturopaths have access to hundreds of different advanced lab tests. This additional service ensures that we are treating the exact cause of your condition, rather than making educated guesses, thereby ensuring you receive the best care possible.
5) Treatment Plan
After your initial consultation at our natural health clinic, your practitioner will spend a significant amount of time formulating a personalised, naturopathic treatment plan.
This plan is based on your test results, case history, health goals and scientific evidence.
6) Revise & Review
We believe in providing only the best in healthcare to all our patients, which is why we schedule review appointments.
This is an opportunity to monitor your progress, discuss any concerns you may have, and to adjust or tweak your treatment plan if necessary. Regular reviews are the best way to help you regain optimal health, quickly.
Your practitioner will provide detailed recommendations on dietary, lifestyle and herbal interventions that will accelerate your results. They may also recommend further testing in order to gain a deeper understanding of your condition.
