Vehicle and wireless communications technologies are rapidly evolving to pave the way for smarter and safer transportation in our communities.
A suite of technologies, known as Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), will connect road users — such as vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists — with elements of the built environment — such as traffic lights, cameras, sensors, and other information sources — to efficiently exchange data with each other and enable safer, more integrated, more efficient and cost effective mobility.
In this panel discussion, we’ll explore how municipalities, transport authorities, the automotive industry, infrastructure providers and government can work together to ensure the potential of C-ITS is realized, safely, securely and effectively.
