Fiddling legend Patti Kusturok is offering a Métis fiddling class at the University of Manitoba.
The Métis teacher started fiddling at the age of four and is now a North American Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame member.
Over five decades, Kusturuk's beat out many an elder at fiddling competitions across the continent.
The school's offering fiddles for free to students taking the course, thanks to a grant.
Some say it's a great way to de-stress.
"Without taking this class, I might have quit my program," said student Krysta Alexson from Kahkewistahaw First Nation.
