Technics 1200 / 1210 Internal Ground modification is perfectly safe and will not cause you any noise or hum in your sound. Thousands of customers are proof of that. You see once you hook up your 1200 / 1210 to your mixer or amplifier your ground wire is connected to your negative of your RCA cable anyways. So in the end Internally grounding your 1200 / 1210 or having a ground wire hooked up there is no difference whatsoever. The choice is yours. Keep in mind High end Rega, AR, Thoerns, tone arms that people often upgrade on the 1200 or 1210 also ground via the RCA cables.
