One of the highlights at bauma China 2014 was the Sunward SWE350ES. It is the first hybrid excavator from a Chinese manufacturer. The 35 ton excavator is powered by an Isuzu four-cylinder-turbo-engine with 184 kW. The hybrid system consists of a generator and a battery. It stores the swing energy and recuperates the power to the main hydraulic pump.
